Collaborative Paper of IPEK and KTmfk awarded at NordDesign 2024
At this year’s NordDesign conference, the paper “Investigating Modeling in Early Robust Design – A Study With the Modeling Method of Embodiment Function Relation and Tolerance Model” was selected as one of the ten best papers of the conference and thus received the Reviewer’s Favorite Award. The paper was written during a cooperative research project between the Institute of Product Engineering (IPEK) at KIT and the Institute of Engineering Design (KTmfk) at FAU. This award confirms the excellent cooperation between the two institutes and emphasises the results of the evaluation study on the method for early robust design developed in the research project.
