New employee: Kevin Neusser
Kevin Neusser joined the research group for machine elements and tribology as a research assistant at the beginning of July. Previously, he studied medical engineering, specializing in production engineering and prosthetics at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. As a student researcher at KTmfk, he worked on DLC coatings for the use in total knee arthroplasty.
Mr. Neusser will continue to focus on surface modifications using PVD processes with the aim of tribologically effective, amorphous carbon coatings for biomedical applications.
