The KTmfk at the NAFEMS D-A-CH 2024 Conference in Bamberg
This year’s NAFEMS D-A-CH conference took place between June 10-12 in Bamberg. Over 100 expert presentations on topics such as FEM, CFD, MKS, SDM etc. were given by industry representatives and universities from all over Europe. In addition, various workshops and discussion rounds were offered, in which an intensive exchange of experience and information between users and manufacturers took place. The KTmfk was also represented with two presentations in the field of lightweight design. Patrick Steck presented a new method for plantar flexion support using ankle foot orthosis mechanics and closed-loop logic. Marc Gadinger focused on the fatigue strength behavior of cyclically loaded, locally reinforced CFRP laminates.
