KTmfk involved in joint publication of the cluster “Numerical Simulation” of the „Forschungsnetzwerk Muskuloskelettale Biomechanik (MSB-Net)“
Computer-aided investigation methods, such as finite element analysis (FEA) and musculoskeletal multi-body simulation (MBS), are important in musculoskeletal biomechanics because they enable a better understanding of the mechanics of the musculoskeletal system as well as the development and evaluation of orthopaedic implants and assistive devices. In order to demonstrate the potential, current work and future trends of FEA and MBS in the field of orthopaedics, the cluster “Numerical Simulation” of the „Forschungsnetzwerk Muskuloskelettale Biomechanik (MSB-Net)“ (Herzlich willkommen: Muskuloskelettale Biomechanik (MSB-NET)), published a joint publication in which the KTmfk was significantly involved and presents its current work in the field of orthopaedic MBS.
