New employee: Felix Pfister
Felix Pfister joined the research group for machine elements and tribology as a research assistant at the beginning of May. Previously, he studied mechanical engineering, specializing in computer-aided product development, at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. As part of his student work at the KTmfk, he focused on lightweight design development and rolling bearing simulations.
His future work at the chair includes working on a BFS project called PEDRO (Performance of Deviated Rolling Bearings) in collaboration with Schaeffler. The aim of the project is to develop a time-efficient procedure for determining the influence of geometric deviations of rolling bearings on their performance parameters.
