Fire extinguisher training for KTmfk employees
What to do in the event of a fire? Reporting a fire and protecting everyone is, of course, an absolute priority. If everyone is safe and there is no major risk to themselves, it is possible to fight the fire independently in the initial phase. In this way, any damage caused can be limited and your own workplace and valuable research can be protected.
In a fire extinguisher training course, KTmfk employees were made aware of what to do in the event of a fire, which should hopefully never occur. After a theoretical part, everyone was allowed to fight a simulated fire with a water extinguisher and a CO2 extinguisher. We would like to thank our colleague Mr. Gerschütz, who, as commander of the Bruck volunteer fire department, conducted the entertaining training with us.
