New method for integrating data-driven methods into product development
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) face the challenge of optimising their development processes through the use of data-driven methods. These methods can lead to more efficient and higher quality product development. PADDME (Process Analysis for Digital Development in Mechanical Engineering) is presented in the latest KTmfk publication. PADDME enables a detailed analysis of current development processes to identify areas where data-driven methods can be applied and provides support in adapting the available methods to the individual boundary conditions. In addition, a maturity model for digital engineering is presented to assess the feasibility and potential benefits of integrating data-driven methods.
