KTmfk at the opening event of the research building ZESS in Bochum
On May 2, the opening of the Research Centre for the Engineering of Smarter Product Service Systems (ZESS) took place in Bochum. In addition to a tour of the facilities and a number of demonstrations, presentations from academia and industry provided important impulses on how sustainability can be improved through the development of smart product service systems. In this context, Dr. Bartz from KTmfk gave a short presentation on the potentials offered by adaptive systems in drive technology to minimize resource and energy requirements. At the in-house exhibition and the successful framework program many good contacts could be maintained and new ones could be won. KTmfk thanks for the invitation and is looking forward to further cooperation in the future.
